New Delhi: The Centre on Tuesday made it clear in the Supreme Court that there is no financial exclusion and no person has so far been denied benefits for lack of Aadhaar or failure of authentication of biometric data.

Making this submission before a five-judge Constitution Bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices A.K. Sikri, A.M. Kanwilkar, D.Y. Chandrachud and Ashok Bhushan, the attorney general K.K. Venugopal dispelled the apprehensions of the petitioners that benefits are denied if there is authentication failure of biometric data.
