After 12 years, man chops dad’s killer’s body into 12 pieces

A young man in Moradabad district, killed his father’s killer and chopped his body into 12 pieces — each piece for each of the 12 years that he had waited to take revenge. Alam Khan, now 24, was just 12 years old when his father was killed by Mohammad Rais.

Last week, Alam Khan invited Mohammad Rais, an inverter mechanic, to his home to repair his inverter dinner and hammered him to death. Parts of his body were discovered two days ago by the police in a drain on the banks of a river. After investigations, the body was identified to be that of Mohammad Rais.

Further probe led the police to Alam Khan’s house, who readily confessed to the murder and showed no signs of remorse. He also named his friend Shoaib who had helped him in his “mission.” Shoaib has also been arrested by the police. “I waited for 12 long years to kill the man who had killed my father before my eyes. Each piece of his body is for the year I spent waiting to get to him,” he said. SP Ram Yadav said that since he had confessed to his crime with an utter lack of remorse, he would be questioned and then sent to jail.
