In a shocking incident, a 21-year-old girl was brutally gangraped at gun point in Bihar's Motihari district on Thursday. According to a news report, the accused inserted a pistol and wooden particles in her private parts.

The accused, Samiullah, had earlier molested her and recorded the same on camera. He used to often blackmail the victim using the video footage and physically assault her. The last time he tried to do the same, the victim got back at him using a blade. In order to avenge the incident, Samiullah along with his friends raped her brutally.

“I was beaten and raped. Later, the accused’s family members came into the scene and also assaulted me,” the victim said.

Though the police have taken the matter into consideration, nothing much has been done so far, said the victim’s father.

In another incident in the same district, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by two men last week. The girl, who is still critical had to undergo a major surgery as a result of the incident.

The incident brings back memories of the horrific Nirbhaya incident where in a 23-year-old paramedical student was brutally gangraped in Delhi.
