Stars watch Star Wars

Easily 2015’s most awaited movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered in Los Angeles on Monday night at the TCL Chinese Theatre and saw stars and fans alike attend in huge numbers. On the red carpet were stars from the original trilogy — Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford — as well as the new cast — John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Lupita Nyong’o. Other Hollywood and television stars such as Zach Braff, Steven Spielberg, Sofía Vergara and husband Joe Manganiello, and Sarah Hyland also attended the premiere.

Reactions to the movie itself have so far been positive, with actor and comedian Patton Oswalt summing up the reactions by simply tweeting, “JJ did it. #StarWarsForce Awakens (sic).”
