At the Adobe Max conference in San Diego, Inglourious Basterds’ director Quentin Tarantino confirmed that his tenth film will be his last, according to HollywoodReporter.com.

The director confirmed that after his next two projects, he will go out with a bang and hopes that he will be remembered as one of the greatest directors that ever lived. “Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, ‘Match that s**t’,” Tarantino said to a roaring crowd who cheered on endlessly.

But before Tarantino starts to work on his next film, which he said could be a story that was a lot like the Bonnie and Clyde tale, the director said that he is right now focussed on a “historical non-fiction project”.

The 53-year-old director is hoping that his last two projects do well, unlike his last film The Hateful Eight, that bombed miserably in the US after he had previously delivered back-to-back hits such as Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained.
