Jennifer Aniston appears one of those superstars who don’t seem to age at all. The 43-year-old actress will soon be seen in the upcoming release Mother’s Day where she shares the screen with two of the biggest superstars of Hollywood — Julia Roberts and Kate Hudson. On the personal front too, things have been going great guns with the actress following her marriage to Justin Theroux. She says that at last she finds life “very peaceful”. In a recent interview, Jen spoke of her new film, let out a few beauty secrets and more. Excerpts:

You look stunning. Nobody can ever guess your age. Please hare your secret. I’m healthy, but I don’t deprive myself. I wake at 5 am for yoga or pilates. If I’m working, that’s how painfully I’ve got to put myself through. I give myself an extra 45 minutes. I feel so much better.

There’s a point in life when one finds peace. Now that you’re married, do you think you’ve reached that point Yeah. I’m very peaceful. I feel very peaceful. I literally wake up every day and feel very lucky. I got a good one. I have got a sweet, kind man.

Is there any particular ritual you and your family follows at home Absolutely! Sunday dinner at home is Carbonara night — Justin’s reintroduced me to the Italian dish. I thank him for the extra 10 pounds too — he’s got to love it now!

It is great to see you and Julia work together. How was it for you I love her and I’ve known her forever. So it was really fun to actually be able to work together. I have to say that I was actually a little nervous; I have to say...She’s so super awesome. She’s funny. Oh, she’s funny.

Anything specific you and your mom do on Mother’s Day Mom and me usually do brunch. And we make some kind of crafty item each time — it’s fun to do something together.

In the film, you’re going through a bunch of emotions, happy and not so happy ones. Tell us about that My character Sandy learns that her husband has gotten remarried, very quickly and out of the blue. She’s worried and trying to overcome the challenge of sharing her children. It’s tough to do so in a very short time — to adjust and rise above it. At the same time she is thrown by Tina’s (Shay Mitchell) presence also because she’s much younger. It’s a complete game changer, when another person comes in to co-parent a child. Hence, all the emotions.

We’ve heard that the film has a lot of improv scenes Is it true Oh yes. Garry (Marshall, director) let us improvise a lot, which was fun. Sometimes so much so, we just went on and on. I feel in a lot of scenes we should have been cut sooner, but it was super fun. Gary is pure sunshine. He’s a good and kind man who only wants to see you happy. On set, it’s a family affair. It shows in his crew. He is loved and adored and a lot of people are here to just be with him.

Your co-star Jason Sudeikis and you have done 107 movies together. That’s quite a number! 107, yes but not all have them have released. We have only released 5. Jason and I should just continue walk into the sunset together with the number of times we have worked together (laughs). But seriously, we are just so comfortable and fun and familiar in all the best ways.
