This weekend, actors Rupert Grint and Bonnie Wright joined other stars of the popular saga for Universal Orlando Resort’s third annual Harry Potter Celebration.
The actors were momentarily speechless on Friday night after they were asked about Rickman, who died Jan. 14 at age 69.
In the Harry Potter films, Rickman played Hogwarts teacher Severus Snape.
Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, said Rickman acted as a father figure on a set full of children.
Wright said that coaching “inspired us to have that professionalism.” Grint played, Ron Weasley. He said Rickman’s death was “quite a side swipe.”
