For those of you who loved Gerard Butler in 300, here’s some good news: The actor will put on a cape and pick up a sword for yet another role, this time for his upcoming film Gods Of Egypt.

The mega action fantasy film follows Bek’s (Brendon Thwaites) quest to retrieve magic objects when he joins hands with Horus, the Lord of the Air (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), amidst thrilling chase sequences and high octane sequences.

Elaborating on the relationship between Gods and mortals in the movie, Gerard Butler says “They’re characters you know, and how do you get that interaction between them and humans. You have to see them living together, and what they learn from each other, and this incredible journey that Horus and Bek take — Bek’s the mortal and Horus is the God, the hero — and they go on this journey and learn so much about what life is really about and what they can learn from each other.”

Marketed and distributed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in India, Gods of Egypt releases on February 26 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
