Drake and Rihanna kiss on stage

During the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Drake revealed he has been in love with Rihanna since a long time while presenting her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Drake, who has been romantically linked with RiRi, raved about her after arriving on stage with the award, reports DailyMail.co.uk.

“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” he said, adding, “She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her, even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry, ladies and gentleman, the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award for 2016, Rihanna.”

As Rihanna gave him a peck on the cheek, Drake continued to lean in to kiss her and then her neck. “This is such an amazing night. When I think about receiving this tonight, all I could think of was my country. They’re gonna be so proud,” RiRi said during her speech, adding, “My success is not my own. It’s my family’s, it’s my fans’, it’s my country’s, it’s women, it’s black women.”

She then thanked her rumoured boyfriend. “Thank you Drake, for that amazing speech,” she said.

Rihanna then left the stage hand-in-hand with Drake, but not before sharing another kiss with him.
