Rapper Coolio and his bodyguard have been arrested in Los Angeles, after a stolen firearm was found in one of his bags at Los Angeles International Airport.
According to TMZ.com, Coolio — whose legal name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr — had already boarded his flight when airport security found the gun in a bag belonging to his entourage. Even though Coolio’s bodyguard claimed the bag was his, a quick investigation showed that the bag actually belonged to the rapper.
Coolio and the bodyguard were both arrested, with the rapper being booked for possession of a stolen firearm by a felon.
