Beyoncé has sued a company for creating “illegal merchandise” for her and selling it, based on song lyrics from her hit track Single Ladies.

In legal documents obtained by DailyMail.co.uk, the singer alleges that the merchandise dilutes her brand and that it will “suffer irreparable harm”. One of the merchandises they’re selling is a coffee cup that reads “Feyoncé — He put a ring on it”, a play on the artiste’s name and the song’s lyrics.

Beyoncé is reportedly asking for all the profits made off the merchandise to be awarded to her.
