Video: This baby was actually born twice from her mother's womb

Lynlee had a tumour growing on her inside the womb and had to be taken out twice by a surgery.

: The idea of someone being born for a second time is a common expression when someone recovers from a crisis or transforms their way of life, but what if someone is literally born twice by surviving certain death

The unusual incident took place at Texas Children’s Hospital and saw a child being removed from the mothers womb, being put back inside and removed again weeks later.

This process was done in order to save the child’s life as a massive tumour was growing on her inside the womb, and any delay in removing would mean the death of the child in the womb. |

For this reason doctors decided to perform a complicated surgery where they took out the baby from the womb at 23 weeks and removed 90% of the tumour, after which she was put back in and delivered Lynlee 13 weeks later in June through c-section and removed the remaining tumour.

Although the doctors had to restart Lynlee’s heart during the surgery, the procedure was successful and she was born again as a healthy baby.
