After a clinical performance in the last event, Vani Kapoor will look to keep her momentum going when the ninth leg of the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour tees off at the par-71 Clover Greens in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Vani will also aim to consolidate her position atop the Hero Order of Merit in the '6,00,000 event that features 13 professionals.
With four wins in five appearances, Vani is in stellar form and will aim for a hat-trick at Clover. She will, however, face stiff opposition from the likes of Neha Tripathi, Gursimar Badwal and Amandeep Drall.
Neha, currently second in the Order of Merit with two wins in eight appearances, will be eager to regain the top position.
Meanwhile, Kapurthala’s Gursimar, who claimed her maiden professional title this season, is third in the money list and will be a force to reckon with.
Amandeep, who is also the defending champion here, has played some consistent golf in the last year and a half and will try to maintain her good form.
She is fifth in the Order of Merit, with her lone win coming at Oxford in five appearances. The Panchkula player will be keen to return to winning ways.
