His occasion wear — a tailor-made fit for the Indian pre-wedding — were given avant-garde twists and jacket saris and crop blouse accompanied lehengas were spotted aplenty in his glittery new collection. Elaborately detailed long tunics paired with cigarette pants and flowing, backless gowns were the toast of the runway at Manish’s show. The collection featured hues of pure white, baby pink, lime green, lilac, champagne nude, metallic grey and honey mustard, signalling the comeback of the shimmering occasion outfits. As for the men, the textured, velvet bandhgalas, vests coupled with Jodhpur pants and pocket-squares were the running themes of Manish’s collection. The night also had a virtual reality twist, with the show being transformed into an immersive experience that viewers will have front row seats for, soon. Sushant Singh Rajput, in a classic black bandhgala and white Jodhpur pants walked the ramp as showstopper, as did Shraddha Kapoor in a deep green velvet lehenga and an embroidered crop blouse.
