Look like a snow queen

Ghost lashes, or the un-mascara effect, as a trend saw its emergence last fall and to achieve this look you either disguise your dark eyelashes with white mascara or skip the mascara-step in your beauty routine altogether. The idea of embracing white eyelashes seems like an unusual decision, yet it is a trend worth trying if you are looking to make a bold statement.

If you don’t have white mascara at home, you could always use the primer of your mascara and not apply the black top coat. Also known as the snow queen look, the lashes are the focal point so the rest of the face should be left to look natural. A luminising BB cream and a lip balm is all you need. You can don the messy bed hair look to add to the get-up. If you don’t feel like going full-on snowy lashes, you can always try it on your bottom lash line or just the tips of your lashes.

Fingers can be used to remove the excess so that the inner corner is only a light shade of white. The same white shade should be used in order to apply along the lash line too. Arrows can be applied with white pencil as eyeliner (so makeup will not smear). Finish it off with the application of mascara. The important thing is to make it look harmonious and complement the overall look.
