Pranoti Pradhan doesn’t get rishtas anymore

Pranoti Pradhan, who plays the role of a mentor for real life couples appearing on her show Aji Sunte Ho, has been battling a peculiar problem off the screen. The actress’ appearance as Mrs Sharma on the show is making audiences assume that she is co-host Satish Sharma’s real wife.

The actress, who is actually single, has had having a tough time receiving marriage proposals ever since the show went on air. She admits. “I am enacting the role of Mrs Sharma, a married lady based in Uttar Pradesh, but I am still single. People have started assuming that I am married to Satish. I’ve stopped getting marriage proposals. In fact, people have started addressing me as Mrs Sharma off-screen too!” It doesn’t help that her family too thinks the show is responsible for her situation. She says, “My family is also feeling the heat now. They have started to complain to me how the show is keeping good matrimonial prospects at bay. I am hoping people realise that I am just enacting the role. I am still in the process of finding my Mr Right and going by the current response, it looks like it will be a tough task.”
