Jhinal Belani says no to intimate scenes on Har Mard Ka Dard

Even as actresses are getting bolder on-screen, there are some who still shy away from shooting intimate scenes. Jhinal Belani belongs to the latter category. The actress, who will be seen as leading lady in upcoming show Har Mard Ka Dard, follows a no-intimate scenes approach.

The actress was asked to be part of a kissing scene with her leading man Faisal Rashid. However, she put her foot down, even as director Parmeet Sethi did his best to convince Jhinal about it.

When we contacted the actress, she said, “We were not informed about the scene when the narration happened. Then Parmeet sir approached us and told us about the scene. It required Faisal and me to kiss in the bathroom, something which I wasn’t comfortable with.” She further added, “I didn’t relent even after Parmeet sir tried explaining the scene to me. On my part, I too explained why the scene wasn’t required. This is a family show, and I don’t want the audience to have a perception that we are getting into a different direction with the story. Finally, they altered the screenplay.”
