Down with dengue, Kiran Kumar misses shoot

Senior actor Kiran Kumar, who’s currently seen as the leading man in Sanyukt, has been missing in action for the last two weeks. A source reveals that the 63-year-old actor is down with dengue and was hospitalised. However, his condition has improved and Kiran’s now recuperating at home.

Sushma Kaul, project head of Sanyukt confirms, “Kiranji has been suffering from dengue and hasn’t been around. Since he’s the lead actor, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to continue shooting for episodes without him, but we’ve been managing somehow. We’re all hoping he gets well and joins us back at the shoot soon.”

When contacted, Kiran said, “I’ve been forced to take rest because of dengue. I’m missing the shoot but most of all, I’m missing getting into the skin of Govardhan. I hope I get through this soon and resume work,”.
