Not just a filmmaker, Pasha has also shown his on-camera skills as he played himself in the entire series.

Pasha Eshghi.
 Pasha Eshghi.

Pasha Eshghi is making his name in the world of films. Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia he went to Collingwood School for 12 years after which he learnt the film production program from The University of British Columbia. During his last semester in 2015, Eshghi produced and directed SWERVE starring Alexander Ludwig. The six episodes web series was based on the story of a limo driver ad his adventures with the passengers. The young filmmaker cites the production of his first series as he faced many challenges while securing the distribution. However, Pasha considers SWERE as a great teacher as he has learnt many aspects of filmmaking from it.

‘BizNasty Does BC’ was his joint collaboration with Paul Bissonnette. The Canadian web series explained British Columbia whilst featuring 17 past and present NHL stars. After viewing the series, the president of Barstool Sports, David Portnoy insisted to release the series on his network. But after months of negotiations, Barstool Sports brought the series and was distributed across all their platforms. The series gave a lot of boost to Pasha’s career.

Not just a filmmaker, Pasha has also shown his on-camera skills as he played himself in the entire series. Before ‘BizNasty Does BC’, he appeared as an airline captain in SWERVE. Apart from this, in 2018 he also participated in several skits which aired on Sportsnet. Pasha stunned everyone in the skit by impersonating Roberto Luongo. At the end of the same year, he got a deal with NHL as they jointly came together for ‘NHL First Timer’. The five episodes series focused on people who were taken to their first NHL games aiming to make them hockey fans. Pasha Eshghi is surely one of the emerging names in Canadian cinema who has a very bright future in films.
