Felix Xavier Rodriguez talks about topping charts with his song-writing skills

Music sensation HideMiyabi is lately getting a lot of fame. He is an American record producer and a songwriter. His real name is Felix Xavier Rodriguez and he was born in Bronx, New York to a Dominican father and a mother. As a child, he was completely into music that during his school days, he wrote and performed on his own songs. However, at the age of 7, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania along with his parents.

In the year 2016, he began his career as he started working as a full-time radio programmer at La Mega, Philadelphia. Apart from his work, he also worked part-time for music projects. His love for music never lessened and that saw him leaving his job and focusing on music became his only goal. His immense musical talent saw him working with soon to be Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling artist Lil Uzi Vert. After that, he worked in several projects thus establishing his name in the music industry.

The turning point in his career was when he worked as a co-producer in Chris Brown’s hit single ‘Pills & Automobiles’. The song became an instant hit and in August 2017, it was certified platinum by the RIAA. The song trended for a long time and ranked #46 in the Billboard Hot 100. The chartbuster single is certified 2x Platinum and has crossed more than 247 million views solely on YouTube.  

HideMiyabi in his short career span has worked with many big celebrities from the music industry. Right from Rae Sremmurd to Yo Gotti, he has worked majorly with all the prominent personalities. Apart from this, he has also co-produced Lil Baby’s ‘Freestyle’. With more than 286 million views on YouTube, the song is certified with 3x Platinum.
