With billions of people active online, garnering visibility and credibility online, digital marketing has become an integral ingredient for success. Commencing your own business in the digital space can prove to be quite challenging, if you are unprepared. Alan Lazar has established multiple businesses online while constantly looking for new ways to share his expertise to help those around him.

Alan Lazar is a serial entrepreneur, investor and self-made millionaire. He firmly believes that digital entrepreneurship shall pave the path towards a brighter future. Numerous young entrepreneurs have created brilliant businesses and concepts through this medium. Whether it’s a digital marketing agency, mobile apps, social media, social influencers or content creation, the opportunities are manifold. Alan explained further, “Young entrepreneurs are able to leverage technology and create ground breaking ideas through the digital medium. They are solving real world problems through their ingenuity and creativity. That’s the power of digital entrepreneurship!”

The scope and implications of digital entrepreneurship speaks for itself. Those who are keen to venture into this space would need to adopt a sound strategy, to ensure that they grow quickly and scale up in a sustainable fashion. Before taking the plunge, it is essential to studythe industry and how it works, understand the market and then focus on creating your own niche. Alan elaborated on this point, “There is a great deal of competition out there. You need to know your craft, understand which niche you look to develop and then give your clients a strong proposition, coupled with value driven service.” Alan’s advice to budding digital entrepreneurs is that that they need to focus on having a clear objective, sound execution and focus on delivering nothing but the best to their clients.

Alan Lazar is no stranger to starting out from ground zero. He worked as a telemarketer to support his family. 4 years later, he established his own call centre with 350 employees based in Delhi, India.

He then focused on internet marketing and traffic arbitrage, achieving 7-digit revenue figures. Today, he has worked with clients like Tai Lopez, bility to spot promising concepts and ideas. He has invested in companies like Outstanding Foods (Pig Out Chips) a plant-based chip made from mushrooms that tastes like bacon. He also invested in an app called “Hundy” which works as a platform to help start-ups and entrepreneurs connect with investors. Alan explained, “Digital start- ups and entrepreneurs need to realize, it’s not a race. It’s about creating innovative and pertinent solutions to problems that clients face. Focus on delivering tangible value and success will be a by-product.”

Having spent millions of dollars on paid advertising on both YouTube and Facebook, Alan believes that everybody needs strong marketingsolutions and that is precisely where digital marketing and entrepreneurship can help bridge the gap.
