Anna heaps praise on Kate

Kate is one of the most brilliant  women I’ve worked with, says Anna Foerster.

The first look of Underworld: Blood Wars has opened to positive reviews. Kate Beckinsale returns as vampire death dealer Selene. Director Anna Foerster is all praise for Kate. She says,  Kate is probably one of the most intelligent and brilliant women I’ve worked with. What was really amazing was to figure out, to evolve and to explore the new facets of Selene in that new story because she’s clearly evolving.”

Anna adds that Kate also added her own touch to the role. “Selena has had this incredible hardship of losing everything she loves. When she comes back, she is fiercer than she ever was. But at the same time you have facets that are new to Selene. She’s softer, and there’s a sense of vulnerability about her.”
