On Sunday, the group made an official announcement saying, “We are four strong committed women who will continue Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors.” According to JustJared.com, there was reportedly tension between Cabello and her band members even before she left the group. They didn’t like Cabello’s decision to start a solo career.
“They hadn’t gotten along in a long time. Camila never made it a secret she planned to do her own thing eventually, and the other girls resented her for it,” a source told People.com.
