Johnny Depp dressed up as his famous character Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean series and spent five hours entertaining patients at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver on Monday.

The actor even hosted a Pirate Party where hats, eye patches and plastic swords were distributed to the brave children fighting life-threatening illnesses. “I didn’t wake up in the morning knowing I was going to see Johnny Depp today!” a patient said.
Depp has been visiting hospitals after his daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, suffered temporary kidney failure due to a E.coli infection back in 2007.
