Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce on hold after he quits drinking

Brad has become sober to try and win Angelina back, and the move to quit drinking was 'all she ever wanted'.

If reports are to be believed, Angelina Jolie and Brand Pitt have called of their divorce after the latter “got sober to try and win Jolie back.” After a decade of dating and two years of marriage, the couple split in September 2016 as they filed for the divorce.

Due to Brad's drinking habits, problems started to affect their relationship soon after the couple tied the knot. But a verbal and physical altercation between Pitt and their oldest son Maddox on a private plane returning from Europe in September 2016 was the last blow and Angelina wasted no time in filing for the divorce.

In January, the pair agreed to use a private judge in their divorce case after Brad was cleared of the allegations.

Though the actress moved out of their house and into a 11,000-square-foot mansion with their six kids, it didn’t quit fill the space left by Brad in her life as according to US Weekly, she is still “deeply in love” with him.

US Weekly reports that Angelina is not only “second guessing her choice” but the divorce is off the table and the couple “may be heading for a full recovery.”

“The divorce is off. They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to. She’s still so in love with him.” says the source.

What made Jolie change her heart? Well, she had a main problem with Brad’s boozing. And she started second guessing her decision after Brad coincided with his coming to terms with alcohol addiction.

In an interview to GQ for their May cover, he accepted of having a drinking problem, which started creating problems in his relationships with his wife and kids. He also admitted how “he could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka.” He said he had quit drinking and is now working on enjoying a healthier lifestyle.

“I can’t remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn’t boozing or had a spliff, or something...I’m really, really happy to be done with all of that. I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year, you know — things I wasn’t dealing with. I was boozing too much,” he had said.

The source told the publication that Brad’s commitment to self-improvement has struck a chord with Angelina, who reportedly earlier claimed she would think about taking Brad back 'if he showed he was committed to raising a family'.

The source further added that Brad has become sober to try and win Angelina back, and the move to quit drinking was 'all she ever wanted'.
