Lily Collins forgives dad Phil Collins
The actress wrote in her new book that it wasn’t too late for the two to have a healthy relationship.
British-American actress Lily Collins has written a letter to her dad, singer Phil Collins, that she published in her debut book Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me, in which she says she forgives him for not being a good father.
According to Dailymail.co.uk, Lily wrote in the book, “I forgive you for not always being there when I needed and for not being the dad I expected. I forgive the mistakes you made. And although it may seem like it’s too late, it’s not. There’s still so much time to move forward.”
Lily is Phil’s daughter from his second marriage, with antiques dealer Joll Tavelman, whom the former Genesis singer was married to for about 12 years.
