David Spade in car crash

Comedian David Spade was involved in a car crash on Wednesday night, with the actor’s SUV being hit by another car in Hollywood, but escaped with minor bruises.

The Grown Ups star was heading out to dinner at around 6.40 pm when his car was hit by another at a busy traffic signal prone to accidents, with the latter attempting to jump a signal, according to TMZ.com. The car was damaged with major dents and it lost a tyre, but all involved suffered cuts and bruises that were treated on the spot.

Spade himself was taken to a hospital, but was not reported to have had any severe injuries.
