Now, a sequel for dil hain ki manta nahin
Not long ago, Pooja Bhatt had herself said that if Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin has to be remade, it should be with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Even as the Bhatts are working on the idea of sequels — Sadak 2 and Aashiqui 3, a sequel plan for one of Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial ventures from 1991, Dil Hai
Ke Manta Nahin, has been initiated by the producers of the film. The runaway hit featured Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt in lead roles.
While Sadak was an original Vishesh Films production, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin was produced solely by T-Series. Not long ago, Pooja had herself said that if the
film has to be remade it should be with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Confirming the same, producer Bhushan Kumar says, “We are working on the film.
It is not known whether the Bhatts will be involved in this project as yet, since Mahesh Bhatt quit direction 20 years ago after Zakhm. Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahin
was an adaptation of It Happened One Night.
