Priyanka yelled at me a lot, rues Ranveer Singh

Mumbai: If you thought Ranveer Singh was always this flamboyant lad who would charm everyone with his undefeatable zeal for life, you are partially wrong. The high-on-life actor was once self-admittedly a difficult guy to handle off camera.

So what happened when he came in contact with a much bigger star on the sets of ‘Gunday’? ‘Got yelled at a lot”, was his answer.

In a recent chat show with a leading channel, Ranveer spilled a few beans about his early days in tinsel town.

Ranveer, back in his ‘Gunday’ and ‘Kill Dil’ days, got yellowed at quite often for being ‘too raw’ and ‘badly-behaved’.

"Priyanka Chopra yells at me a lot. She thinks I'm extremely badly-behaved, which I will admit. I was very raw when we first collaborated. Our first film together was Gunday. At that time, I was quite a handful to deal with off camera. Now I can switch off and switch on. She wasn't having any of it being very experienced. She'd yell at me a lot. She's one of my favourite co-actors,” the ‘Befikre’ star was quoted as saying.

In fact he was so difficult to handle that his director Shaad Ali (of ‘Kill Dil’) had to shout at him constantly.

After ‘Befikre’ release, Ranveer will be shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama ‘Padmavati’ where he plays the role of tyrant ruler Alauddin Khilji.
