Aishwarya’s mom may move in with her
Buzz is that both Abhishek and Aishwarya are worried about her mother living alone in the building that recently caught fire.
A fire broke out in La Mer, a high-rise building in Mumbai, on Tuesday. One of the most well-known names residing in the posh building is Brinda Rai, mother of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The house has been Aishwarya’s parents’ home for close to 20 years, where even the actress spent much of her early ears, till she got married to Abhishek Bachchan. However, after the fire, the question of Brinda’s safety looms large.
A source close to Aishwarya says, “Both Abhishek and Aishwarya are worried about her mother being alone in the La Mer residence after Brinda’s husband passed away in March this year. They have been persuading her to come stay with them, so she could be close to her granddaughter Aaradhya. But Brinda has been so far avoiding all attempts at persuading her to change residence.”
Apparently Ash and Abhi are adamant that they want Brinda to move in with them. According to a family member, “Aishwarya’s mom’s resistance to the idea of changing residences is finally dissolving.”
