After Gully Boy, which has received humongous appreciation from everyone, Zoya Akhtar is set to make some noise on the digital platform. The director has created her first web-series Made In Heaven along with her partner in rhyme Reema Kagti. Zoya is also producing the show under her company Tiger Baby Productions, which is also one of the producers of Gully Boy.

“This is my and Reema’s first long format show under our banner Tiger Baby. The best part about a web show is that you get a lot of time to open and close the film, explain the story and develop the characters,” says Zoya about the show that will see many directors. Besides Zoya, the show has Nitya Mehra, Prashant Nair and Lipstick Under My Burkha director Alankrita Srivastava donning the hat of directors.

The show also features a huge cast including Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Neena Gupta and Sobhita Dhulipalia among others. “The web series format interests me a lot. One, because I watch a lot of web series. Two, as a writer I always tend to overwrite. You have to wrap a film in two hours but with a web series, you can always go up to eight hours, which is good for me,” adds Zoya.
