After turning director with the film Kizie Aur Manny, now renamed as Dil Bechara, casting director Mukesh Chhabra adds one more feather to his cap as he turns actor for a short film titled Kirdaar.

Mukesh took to the social media site and wrote, “I can't act, Swati has been my friend for a long time now. She has always been passionate towards her work and hence I did it for her. Being a filmmaker/casting director, I understand the overall process of filmmaking and I really appreciate Swati as she pays so much attention to the minutest details. It was a wonderful experience working with her.”

Soon after he released the trailer online, he started receiving a lot of positive responses.

Reacting to that, he writes, “So overwhelmed with the kind of love and appreciation I have received post the release of #Kirdaar trailer. Thank you so so many guys for all the amazing feedback and excitement for the film.”

The short film also features TV actress Pooja Gor in a prominent role.

She writes, “About almost a year ago, Had a fabulous opportunity to work for a very intriguing short film called #Kirdaar written & directed by my dearest @semwalswati I have worked with you before too, but in the capacity of an actor on V The Serial. To see you grow & come into your own, so brilliantly has been a delight. Full power to you. Loved doing this short.
