Nawazuddin Siddiqui unaware of Kabir Khan’s Netflix show

There has been a buzz in the industry that Kabir Khan, who has worked with Saif Ali Khan in Phantom and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Bajrangi Bhaijaan wants the two to come together for a web series for Netflix. The content is based on Scott Ellsworth’s book, A Secret Game: A Wartime Story of Courage, Change, and Basketball’s Lost Triumph.

Saif has already confirmed that he is playing the part of the basketball coach in the series. We hear that Nawaz will be playing the antagonist that Saif clashes within the story.

Having said that, sources close to Nawaz deny that he has even been spoken with for the role, let alone sign up.

Incidentally, Kabir is also making a separate web series for Amazon called A Secret Army based on Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj starring Rajkummar Rao.
