U Turn to be remade in Hindi?

If sources are to be believed, the hit Kannada film U Turn will soon be remade in Hindi. Rumour has it that more than one Bollywood producer is keen on backing the project.

“Pawan Kumar, the director of the original film, will be directing the Hindi remake as well. The film’s leading lady will be finalised soon,” a source says.

U Turn is a suspense thriller about a series of accidents that take place at a particular location in Bengaluru. The story is documented by a journalist investigating a crime.

The film’s bilingual Tamil-Telugu remake, also helmed by Pawan Kumar, with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead, is currently awaiting release.
