Dharmendra skips grandson’s debut launch

There may not be anything odd about Dharmendra and Hema Malini attending the muhurat of director Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma’s debut Genius. After all, Dharam and Anil have worked together in a number of Bollywood films such as Hukumat, Elaan-E-Jung, Farishtay, Tahalka and Apne.

However, what was strange was the fact that Dharmendra chose to skip the muhurat of his grandson, Sunny Deol’s son Karan’s film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which went on floors very recently. While Hema not attending the muhurat wasn’t an aberration, it was strange that Dharmendra wasn’t present to give his grandson his blessings. Interestingly, even Sunny was missing in action at the muhurat of Genius even though he has worked with Anil Sharma in several films like Gadar, Apne and Singhsaab The Great.
