It's a girl! After 5 years of marriage, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani become parents
With both the mother and the child doing fine, Esha Deol will be discharged from the hospital on Monday.
Mumbai: After five years of marriage, 'Dhoom' actress Esha Deol has welcomed a baby girl with her entrepreneur husband Bharat Takhtani.
The actress delivered a baby girl through normal delivery at a hospital in Khar, Mumbai on 20 October, with the mother and the child doing fine, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.
“It’s hard to express how happy I feel today! I think the baby looks like me and when she smiles, the world smiles at you. Esha and her bonding is divine,” Bharat confirmed the news to the tabloid.
Esha will be discharged from the hospital on Monday.
Esha and Bharat had got married in 2012. Following news of Esha’s pregnancy, the couple had made news for a ‘babymoon’ photoshoot that they held abroad. A grand lavender-themed baby shower organised by Esha's sister Ahana and their 'second marriage' as part of Sindhi customs had also made headlines.
Few days ago, Esha's close friend Soha Ali Khan had also welcomed a baby girl with husband Kunal Kemmu.
