Spirits are high after actor Akshay Kumar and director Raghav Lawrence announced their latest film Laxmmi Bomb, which is a remake of the Tamil hit film Kanchanna. The film has Kiara Advani as the female lead.

According to latest media reports concerning the film, shooting of a new song titled Bismillah has been underway in Mumbai’s Borivali area with spooky babas and attractive women being part of the song.

A source says, “Probably more than 100 female foreigners participated in this song number with none other than Akshay Kumar. The song was completed in three days.”

The source adds that the song will play a key role in taking the plot forward. Akshay will reportedly be possessed by a ghost in the song.

Laxmmi Bomb comes at a time when many South Indian movies are being remade in Hindi, in a bid to play it safe at the box office. This trend had emerged in the 90s as well.
