Kesari director’s mytho superhero film

Director Anurag Singh who is helming Kesari is also working on his superhero flick and will start work on the film once he wraps up the balance 15-day work left for Kesari. The sets of Kesari were on fire and the sets were destroyed a few weeks back and hence a few days of shoot will need to take place on another set.

It can be recalled that Singh who has bene one of the biggest directors of Punjabi films had made a film called Super Singh which was a superhero film involving the Sikh religion and had Diljit Dosanjh playing the role of the Sikh superhero Super Singh who derives his power from a turban.

“Anurag is now working on another superhero film, this time in Hindi. He has been signed on by Junglee Pictures and has been developing a script for them which is about a superhero who has his roots in Indian mythology,” says a source.

Incidentally Anurag’s first two films in Bollywood – Raqeeb and Dil Bole Hadippa did not fare well.
