Sidharth Malhotra to star in Kirik Party remake?

It has been rumoured for a while that Sidharth Malhotra will be reprising the role that Rakshit Shetty played in the 2016 Kannada dramedy film Kirik Party. It looks like there will be a Bollywood remake for this film too. 

The rights of the one hero-two heroine film has been bought by producer Ajay Kapoor. Sidharth was being considered for the lead role. But it seems there is a negotiation going on about the price and Sidharth’s response says it all. “All I can say is that I have seen the film and it is a lovely, fun college film. The rest we will find out in due course,” says the actor, whose last few films’ box office earnings haven’t been too encouraging.

The film has also been remade in Telugu with Nikhil Sidharth as Kirrak Party and will be release next month.
