Settled down? I’m there already

Shama Sikandar who is back under the arc lights thanks to her web series Maaya, is a non-conformist. Ask about her plans of settling down with her American boyfriend Jinx Melayan and she says, “I don’t think there is anything called ‘settling down’. I am a very settled person. I love somebody and he loves me back and that’s a very settling feeling. We will sign the papers and give the party anytime. It’s not that I don’t believe in the institution of marriage. I am okay with it. But what matters to me is the feeling.”

We probe her about the details nevertheless. “It is the most beautiful feeling; it’s overwhelming to be in love. I can’t be grateful enough for getting so much love. Jinx is a wonderful guy and I am so blessed to have him as my partner,” she signs off.
