Sylvester Stallone reacts to Tiger Shroff’s Rambo

Tiger Shroff has established himself as one of the most bankable action stars of the country in a very short period of time. Hence, it came as no surprise, when Siddharth Anand cast him as the lead in his desi adaptation of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo.

However, the reaction to the news on social media was quite polarised. Sylvester himself, on learning the news, took to his Instagram to show an apprehensive response to the remake. “I read recently they are remaking Rambo in India !! .. Great character.. hope they don’t wreck it (sic)” he wrote.

However, the international superstar quickly went on damage control mode,  soon. Sylvester wrote, “Some people like to read into words and twist them.. good luck Tiger , go fight the good fight, keep punching ,oh , for the Record , I love it when young artists get an opportunity to go for their dreams! (sic)” he wrote in a new post. “I actually get excited in my heart whenever young artists get an rare opportunity to reach for the stars! Eye of the Tiger! I am sure he will put his heart and soul into it…”

On his part, Tiger thanked the superstar, and wrote, “There will always and only be ONE “eye of the tiger” for us cubs you rule the jungle! Thank you so much sir!”
