Sonakshi Sinha talks about her Priyanka Chopra connection

It is a well-known fact that Sonakshi Sinha is an ardent admirer of Priyanka Chopra. So much so that Sonakshi has often hailed Peecee for her performances. The actress who grooved to the title track of the Priyanka starrer, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi at the DaBang tour, explained why she looks up to the actress. “Priyanka and I are not text message buddies but whenever we meet we share a huge fondness for each other. I really look up to her in a lot of ways and she has always been nice to me, whenever we have met.” She added, “I think she is a very inspiring person, with the kind of work that she has done and the number of years that she has spent in the industry. It is not very easy for an actor to sustain so long,” she said.

She also spoke about why she considered Priyanka to be a woman achiever in her own right. “It is creditable the way she has not only conquered the Hindi film industry, but also made her mark in the West. She has followed her dreams in life and that is the hallmark of a strong woman. That’s worth appreciating,” Sonakshi revealed.
