Kriti Sanon’s the original Half Girlfriend

Filmmaker Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend, with Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, wasn’t designed to be that way. Kriti Sanon was to play Shraddha’s part but due to the former’s commitment to Raabta, that didn’t work out.

Says the director, “When I got the script, I met Kriti but somehow the dates didn’t work. I wanted to shoot the film in June and that wasn’t working out with Kriti. She is a professional actor and was committed to her project on hand. She is a great girl, we are friends and will work together in future,” he added.

When Kriti’s date match, Mohit approached Shraddha, making Half Girlfriend his third film with the actress.

Meanwhile Mohit Suri is also releasing a new song Party Non Stop by Dr Zeus with EMI Records India.
