Shahid Kapoor keen to reunite with dad Pankaj Kapur

Shahid Kapoor, currently busy promoting Rangoon, says he’s keen to reunite with father Pankaj Kapur, professionally.

“I’m dying to do a film with my father. Shaandaar didn’t do justice to us at all. I want to do something which is exciting, as father and son. Let’s see if anything comes our way,” Shahid said.

Pankaj had directed Shahid and Sonam Kapoor in Mausam last, in 2011. Unfortunately, the movie bombed at the box office. Later, the father and son duo was also seen in Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar, but that didn’t do too well either.

Even as he talks about his dad, Shahid mentions that he’s excited about his brother Ishaan Khatter, who is ready to make his debut with Majid Majidi’s movie. “I’m very happy and excited; he has got a great opportunity. I hope he does a great job and makes us all proud,” the elated big brother said.
