Saifeena welcome baby boy

Weeks of speculation drew to a close on Tuesday, when Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan announced the birth of their baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. While they remained elusive to the media, the new parents issued a statement to the press that read, “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last nine months, and of course especially our fans and well-wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all... With love, Saif & Kareena”

According to sources  Kareena delivered the baby at 7.30 am at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan said, “We are delighted. Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi is a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and son are doing well!”

Karan Johar took to Twitter to congratulate the couple. He said, “My Bebo had a baby boy!!!!!!! Am so so happy!!!!!!! #TaimurAliKhan. (sic).”

Kareena seems to have proved to the world that pregnancy and being a professional can be balanced. All through her pregnancy, she has worked hard and partied even harder. On Sunday night, she was spotted partying at her friend Dianne Pandey’s 48th birthday; and early Tuesday, the news of the baby was already out. Kareena also posed for selfies with her grandfather’s friend Simi Garewal, who had paid them a special visit. The true professional that Kareena is, people are eager to see how long she will take to get back to her sexy, shapely self.
