Ishaan turns down Life In A Metro sequel?

After getting Abhishek Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao on board for the sequel to his 2007 hit, Life In a Metro, director Anurag Basu is reported to have offered Ishaan Khatter a part in the film. However, it’s believed that the young actor has politely turned it down for reasons unknown.

“Ishaan was offered an interesting part in the film, but he has chosen not to take up the project,” a source reveals.

The actor made his debut with the critically-acclaimed film Beyond The Clouds before going on to star with Janhvi Kapoor in the recent hit, Dhadak. Now, he seems to be carefully choosing his next project, and perhaps a film with an ensemble cast is not what he’s looking for.

Apart from Ishaan, actor Sidharth Malhotra is also said to have turned down an offer to be part of the project.
