Amyra Dastur and Ali Fazal bond over football on the sets of Prasthaanam!

Amyra Dastur is currently shooting in Lucknow for the Hindi remake of the super hit Telugu film Prasthaanam, with Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey. The film, which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala, is being directed by the original film’s director Deva Katta.

Amyra and Ali have been cast opposite each other with Satyajeet playing Ali’s brother in the film. The Always Kabhi Kabhi co-stars have known each other for a long time and are great friends in real life too.

This is the first time Amyra to be working with the duo. The trio seems to have gotten along like a house on fire, bonding over their common love for football.

They also watched FIFA World Cup and a couple of other matches. They ensured to make the necessary arrangements on and off set to see the matches together.

 “I genuinely enjoyed watching football but these two made the World Cup even more entertaining. They’ve really brought out my inner football fan. We all screamed every time there was a goal. The entire set was so shocked in the beginning but they got used to it at one point. Deva even started packing us up from the set at the same time, so that we could head to mine or Ali’s vanity to watch the matches!”
