Katrina Kaif’s double role

Does Katrina have a double? Well, television audiences certainly did see that the other day, when an award function was telecast on a leading channel. 

The award function had Katrina standing on stage ready with a co-host, who was announcing the name of the winner of the best actor. And just as the host announced the name of the winner, Shahid Kapoor, the camera panned to him, and voila, he was seated right next to Katrina, who was grinning away, flanked by Sonakshi Sinha on the other side. 

Now how could that be possible? Surely it was not her sister or her doppelganger. The sequence of events seemed to be right out of a Bollywood thriller. And the next shot showed Shahid’s wife Mira seated next to him getting up and hugging him before he went up on stage to collect the award. 

Evidently, the awards function programme was edited in tearing hurry for TV to meet hovering deadlines, but it sure made the audience have their share of fun.
