I want to finish as a legendary actress, says Nidhhi Agerwal

Tiger says that he is happy that for the first time he isn’t the newcomer in a film but Nidhhi Agerwal is. His co-star is getting a hang of things. She says, “As an outsider, it appears that celebrities lead such a glamorous life but once you are a part of it, you realise the hard work hidden behind that glitz. I had many hobbies but now I only work on myself. I have to become the best dancer and actor and have the best personality. In five years’ time, I want to be the best actress and want to finish as a legendary actress. I am joining a theatre workshop right after the film release. I may feel that the third shot was perfect but director may choose the fifth one and thus, I want to give my best shot in every take so that my best performance reaches the audience. My whole family is in Bengaluru and I have nothing but my ambitions to live with in Mumbai.”

She feels she is blessed to have got a film with Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. “They are very different from one another but I got to learn so much from both of them. Tiger is so hardworking. For a 5am shoot, he will come at 3am and start rehearsing. Nawaz sir is a very honest performer and he suggested to me that I shouldn’t let go of my innocence,” says the new kid on the block.

Nidhhi, who has a management degree, always wanted to be actress. About her role, she says, “I am a trained dancer. I have learnt ballet for seven years. Since I play a dancer in the movie, it helped me a lot. I used to go to the gym but I started working on my fitness after I got the film. I showed Katrina Kaif’s photos to my gym trainer and said, ‘Aisi body chahiye mujhe’.”

However, her favourite actress is Deepika Padukone. “Maybe it’s our Bengaluru connection. Her sister used to be in my school,” she says.
