As the new year is coming closer, KGF has just unveiled its new groovy track Gali Gali starring Mouni Roy and the song is one of the hottest number. The film stars Yash alongside the debutante Srinidhi Shetty.

The song is a remake of the 80s song Gali Gali Mein Phirta Hain from the film Tridev and is a perfect match to the film which revolves around the 70s and 80s era.  The yash-starrer action period drama is a true story based on Kolar Gold Fields located in Karnataka. The film that is set against the backdrop of a different era revolves around Kolar Gold Fields and is a two-part series.

The song is shot exclusively at Goregaon studio in suburban Mumbai and Mouni has been featured in multiple looks. The song will also star the leading man Yash along with Mouni and has been recreated by Tanishq Bagchi.

Mouni says, “Gali Gali is one of my favorite songs from the 80s; old melodies are definitely the evergreen hits. As time passes, the new generation adapts to the old songs and recreates the music in their own way. Even the composers come up with new-age musical twist. The remake is a tribute to the original song featuring Jackie sir and Sangeetaji, and while I was shooting for the song, I felt a sense of responsibility to be able to recreate the magic that the two iconic actors had on screen.”

The film will release in five different languages including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
